Aim of the course

The lecture teaches students the basics of car body construction in automobile production. It provides an overview of the various concepts in automobile production, the assembly sequences of the car body and the joining technology based on interesting insights from industry. As part of the lecture, participants are required to prepare short five-minute presentations on the use of technology in automotive body construction. The topic is chosen in the first lecture unit. An excursion to an automobile manufacturer is also offered. The date will be announced during the lecture.
