Abstract

Stamping parts with dimensions of up to a few millimeters are produced on high-speed presses. The disproportion between machine size and component size results in technical and economic disadvantages related to the achievable component quality and energy use. Therefore, this paper presents a miniaturized shear cutting machine, which increases the accuracy of the shear cutting of small components.
